First of all, some people have asked me for statistics on trans unemployment. Here is a link to some statistics showing that the unemployment rate is much higher than the national average in the US. I’m not sure how much credence to give to the statistics since trans people aren’t generally ‘out’ and are hesitant to fill out surverys.
