Attend various conferences, represent the organization and speak on the organizations behalf.   Implements a cohesive and strategic plan for use of Web and social media technologies. Updates organizational Web site, blog, Facebook page, Twitter account, and others to keep fresh, newsworthy content accessible to current and prospective supporters. Manages e-communication to e-news list, clients, and others on a regular basis. &lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;Qualifications: &lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;Candidate must possess outstanding interpersonal skills and personal presentation abilities, excellent written and verbal communications and &amp;#8216;customer first&amp;#8217; demeanor, strong sales skills and an ability to positively influence others. The plan will set out objectives, plans, and specific activities to be pursued in each area of responsibility. This plan will be developed in the context of the organization?s strategic plan and will be directed at supporting the objectives established in the plan. &#10;*&#9;Makes decisions relative to the selection, promotion, utilization, retention and compensation of Marketing and Communication Associate. &#10;*&#9;Assists Director of Advancement with making presentations to the Board on Marketing and Communication strategies and activities. &#10;*&#9;Develops a marketing strategy that effectively markets the organization and educates the public and maximizes the organization&amp;#8217;s fundraising efforts. &#10;*&#9;In conjunction with the Director of Advancement, leads an organization-wide process to develop, implement and continually refresh a messaging and positioning platform.&#10;*&#9;Writes communication materials including but not limited to press releases, spokesperson availability, media advisories, op-ed pieces, blog entries, donor communication, and white papers.&#10;*&#9;Develops and implements communication and media strategies that successfully deliver key messages and information to the public, elected officials, supporters and donors. &#10;*&#9;Develops and maintains a strong and productive relationship with print, broadcast and electronic media.
