Web Project Manager
at Embolden in Rhode Island-Providence
Position: Project Manager (Full-time)
Job Description:
Our project managers collaborate with multi-group teams, internally and externally, to oversee web development projects, often multiple projects with multiple clients simultaneously. Providing excellent customer service, ensuring impeccable work and keeping projects on-time and on-budget are critical components of this position.
Job Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and strong hands-on project management or coordination role for a minimum of 2-3 years is required.
Liaison between departments, with customers and a production team is preferred.
A background in web development projects is preferred and the candidate should have the ability to learn software applications and programs easily.
Experience with reporting and/or tracking tools, databases and/or database software, website usability, layout, search engine optimization, HTML and social networking a plus.
Knowledge of community foundations and/or nonprofit organizations is helpful.
Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, to collaborate creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment and strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
Excellent project planning and scheduling skills, integrating and synchronizing project plans.
Strong time-management skills with an eye toward details and efficiency.
Quick decision-making skills with the ability to make decisions that are in the best interest of the company and the client.
Proven success in quality management, risk management, cost management and scope management.
Ability to take direction and also work to recommend improvements to existing processes.
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
