Production Support Analyst
at Broadridge Financial Solutions in Massachusetts-Boston
The Production Systems Analyst is primarily responsible for system monitoring, problem logging and performing tasks effectively to troubleshoot issues.
Responsiblities:
-Monitor day to day operations to ensure service reliability
-Monitor scheduled tasks to ensure timely delivery
-Trouble-shooting processing failures and escalating issues to the next level of support when necessary
-Utilize and maintain a run book to resolve and record issues.
-Assist with implementing process improvements.
-Participate in the on-call rotation and rotating shift schedule.
-Responding to client inquiries by performing SQL queries and generating reports.
-Additional tasks as assigned.
This position has a rotating shift from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM weekly.
One week you would work from 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, the next week 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and the next 1:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Weekend support is required every two months, weekend support can be provided remotely.
Qualifications Required :
Production monitoring support experience required.
1-3 years running SQL queries.
1-3 years experience with Perl or other scripting language.
Working knowledge of XML.
Windows OS.
