Senior Business Analyst
at Broadridge Financial Solutions in Massachusetts-Boston
The Senior Business Analyst leads multiple small to medium size projects; works directly with internal functional and technical team members; and is looked upon as one of the key decision makers for the project. The Senior Business Analyst uses several methods to gather and defined business requirements including reviewing current documentation, interviewing functional and technical personnel. The Senior Business Analyst will become a subject matter expert in Broadridge products, using this expertise to solution appropriate offerings to the client. The Senior Business Analyst defines documents and validates business requirements and assures those business requirements are adhered to throughout the project. Throughout the project, the Senior Business Analyst will define solutions and make recommendations to support those solutions; attend and run project meetings; report, track, and manage issues; respond to and follow-up questions related to the business requirements.
Qualifications Required :
1) Act as the project lead for small to medium projects, directing and coordinating project activities including gathering and documenting requirements, translating functional requirements to technical requirements, preparing and managing the project plan, and recommending solutions
2) Manage customer interactions, seen as the subject matter expert in Broadridge applications and processes; can be considered a solution architect
3) Represents project stakeholders throughout the project implementation to ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction
4) Identifies, documents, tracks, and manages issues through resolution
5) Owns the “requirements” process from needs assessment through application go-live
6) Partner with business users and act as a liaison between business and technical teams
7) Coordinate development, testing, and implementation of solutions with vendors
8) Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
9) Contributes in the creation of project schedules, estimating time requirements, estimating deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project and resolving conflicts
10) Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational requirements
11) Works several projects concurrently
12) Reports regularly to management on project and team member progress
